Entrance to company building using AquaDrain® SD
- The AquaDrain® SD1 steps drainage is laid from top to bottom.
- After preparing the steps (fall min. 1%, sides raised by AquaDrain® SD water guidance strips and seal if required), the AquaDrain® SD Type 1 steps drainage is cut to size and fixed onto the steps with strip-shaped fixing (MS polymer adhesive).
- Mortar is now spread on the upper and lower riser and tread edges. Bonding increases mechanical load capacity. Afterwards a suitable bonding bridge is applied to the full surface of the treads on the back.
- The tread is now installed in the fall and hammered into the single-grain mortar.
- The elements must not overlap when they meet. Corner joints are covered with the Watec® BW expansion joint strip. The AquaDrain® SD stainless steel steps grid must be embedded in such a way as to be surrounded with mortar on all sides.
- The finished project with floor lighting and drainage in front of the steps.
