AquaDrain® BF drain grates have a patented screw foot system that allows for the drain grate to be positioned at an angle, resulting in a ramp-like effect . In combination with AquaDrain® surface drainage mats, which provide outstanding drainage, easy-access thresholds, compliant with disability standards, are no longer a problem on balconies and terraces.

Optimum threshold-free transition with adjustable ramp-like AquaDrain® BF drain grate – in combination with AquaDrain® surface drainage, it offers the highest degree of safety.

AquaDrain® BF and AquaDrain® BF-FLEX make it possible to install an adjustable, ramp-like slope, so that the upper edge of the waterproofing attached to the door element no longer lies lower than the upper edge of the covering. As a result, water can no longer accumulate and run behind the waterproof membrane.

Advantages of AquaDrain® BF/BF-Flex

  • Ramp-like, continuous adjustment system allows for easy-access thresholds - without the risk of accumulated water
    Patented screw foot system allows for a ramp-like sloping adjustment of up to 6 %. This means that the door component can be installed at a higher level, with the upper edge of the waterproof membrane lying above the upper edge of the covering.

  • Integral dirt trap protects against fouling.
    The trap prevents dirt falling into the drain grate, guaranteeing  permanent drainage performance by grate and surface drainage .
  • Simple, precise adjustment to the covering height due to screw feet that can be adjusted from above.
  • Maximum drainage performance due to drain grate open below combined in a system with AquaDrain® surface drainage.
    Guarantees maximum drainage capacity without accumulation of water. Drainage of façade and surface water is carried out  unimpeded and safely underneath the covering.
  • Additional AquaDrain® BF-FLEX function: easy and flexible cutting to required length on site, thus saving time and costs.
    Thanks to two adjustable sliding feet and patented frame geometry, time-consuming and expensive customised designs are no longer required; the feet also serve to connect the grids with one another.
