The DiProtec® DRAIN BR parapet waterspout is a stainless steel waterspout for draining balconies and patio terraces surrounded by a parapet. The strong self-adhesive Watec® Fin sealing collar is adhered to the large adhesive flange to provide a sealed connection, thereby ensuring a simple and secure connection to all kinds of sealing pastes.
The Watec® Fin sealing collar is not used for adhesion of cold applied self-adhesive sealing sheets (KSK sheets), but is cut out of the sealing material (approx. 400 x 400 mm). If surrounding parapets completely prevent drainage over the edge areas, then in accordance with DIN EN 12056 two independently operating drainage systems are to be installed, for example a floor gully and a waterspout or two parapet waterspouts.
The second waterspout, in accordance with building regulations, serves as an emergency overflow.
