IndorTec® FLEXBONE-VA

High-load bonded uncoupling

IndorTec® FLEXBONE-VA

The high-load bonded uncoupling and sealing
for high-load surfaces and large-format coverings in interior areas.

IndorTec® FLEXBONE-VA with fleece on the underside is a high-performance bonded uncoupling system with outstanding adhesive shear and adhesive tensile strength. This means the system is able to dissipate even strong movements of critical surfaces as well as high dynamic forces from above, without any problems. IndorTec® FLEXBONE-VA offers previously unattainable levels of safety for laying high-load coverings and large formats. Can also be used as a bonded seal in wet rooms

In a comparison test by the MPA Wiesbaden (Construction Materials Testing Institute in Wiesbaden, Germany), IndorTec® FLEXBONE-VA achieved outstanding adhesive grip. IndorTec® FLEXBONE-VA has significantly more reserves and allows for almost three times more plastic deformation (1.3 mm).

Technical information

Suitable interior substrates

  • On fresh, still damp cement screeds
  • On fresh, still damp calcium sulphate screeds
  • On cracked (heating) screeds
  • On wooden substrates and dry screeds
  • For large format coverings
  • As a seal in wet areas

Coverings and covering formats

  • Coverings such as those which are offered by the covering manufacturer for the respective application area are suitable.
  • Covering materials which tend to deform when affected by moisture are unsuitable.
  • Tile formats should be at least 5 x 5 cm in private residence construction, and at least 10 x 10 cm for higher loading groups.

Adhesive consumption for trowelling off the mat:

  • approx. 1.75 l/m² (approx. 2.1 kg/m² depending on type of adhesive)
