The problems usually come from the substrate

Wooden floors, cracked screeds or mixed substrates are problematic for direct laying of tiles or natural stone, because they expand differently than the relatively rigid flagging. GUTJAHR decoupling systems neutralize the tension from the substrate and prevent damage such as cracks, delamination or bulging.

Decoupling

The patented bone structure makes IndorTec® FLEXBONE decoupling systems the powerful and reliable "backbone" of the floor covering – particularly with large-sized or highly loaded coverings. They are available as composite or floating decoupling.

With the IndorTec® FN tile levelling system, unevenness caused by height differences in large-format tile coverings is easy to compensate for. The IndorTec® SE plinth ventilation profile supports the accelerated drying of indoor substrates which are still too damp.
