Rain, frost and heat: surface or step drainage systems from Gutjahr have been protecting high-quality outdoor surfaces for more 30 years against weather-related damage such as efflorescence, frost damage or weed growth. The system solutions are suitable for coverings made from ceramic, natural stone or artificial stone – for any laying method and also for highly-stressed surfaces. Due to the high drainage values, they are also suitable for easy-access transitions.
Fixed laying on (drainage) mortar
Our special drainage systems for fixed installation create a channel system beneath the covering, providing optimum drainage of water penetrating through the joints. Efflorescence caused by backwater, frost damage and moisture stains are avoided.
Drive-on surfaces
Highly frequented pavement or artificial stone coverings can be drained reliably and permanently with the AquaDrain HB heavy-duty surface drainage mat.
Loose laying on gravel / chippings
Our special drainage systems for loose installation are a drainage layer and protective layer in one. The rapid drainage prevents backwater-related frost damage, weeds and hydrostatic pressure on the waterproofing.
Outdoor steps
The AquaDrain SD step drainage mats with the one-piece, pre-formed angle elements drain seepage water beneath stair coverings in a targeted way. Limescale plumes, which particularly occur the tread and the riser, are avoided as well as frost damage and moisture stains.
