AquaDrain® SD step drainage mats reliably protect outdoor steps made from ceramic and natural stone/concrete from efflorescence and frost damage caused by accumulated water. They can be used as drainage in a medium bed, on (drainage) mortar or on mortar strips for block steps or drainage mortar in a bond.

Area of application For outdoor steps in private and public areas.
Types of covering Coverings such as those recommended by the covering manufacturer for the respective application area and the respective type of covering laying are suitable.
Substrates • Substrates must be level, load bearing and solid. They must be non-resilient and non-compressible.
• Uneven surfaces > 4 mm must be compensated for.
Load-bearing capacity AquaDrain® SD: 2,000 kg/m2
Drainage performance AquaDrain® SD: up to 0.72 l/(m*s) with 1 % fall
Insulation Pressure-resistant thermal insulation, bonded to the substrate free of cavities, non-resilient and non-compressible.
